About Us
Visionary Cattle is owned and operated by the Hicks
Family; Ray and Debbie Hicks along with Kyle and
Carole Knight. Morgan Fondren, a Portal High School
FFA member shows for us and helps take care of the
cows. Located on the north end of Bulloch County,
near the small town of Portal, Georgia, Visionary
Cattle makes its home. We have a small herd of very
functional females. The majority of the females are
Hereford, but we own a few commercial animals as
well. We produce mostly registered Hereford club
calves and a few commercial steers and heifers. Our
goal is to produce quality females that not only do
well in the show ring, but also will perform well when
put back into the herd.
